After graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Western Australia, Daniel completed his medical internship and residency at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Western Australia. He then worked as a registrar in psychiatry, splitting his time between consultation liaison and emergency psychiatry.

 

Following this, Daniel worked at Medicare Australia as the Medical Adviser for the WA region. He also acted as the Senior Medical Adviser on a number of occasions, with responsibility for WA, SA, NT, Victoria and Tasmania. While at Medicare Australia, Daniel continued to practice clinical medicine at Hollywood Private Hospital.

 

Most recently, Daniel was appointed to the role of Director of Medical Services at Hollywood Private Hospital. Hollywood is one of five hospitals operated by Ramsay Health Care in Western Australia.
