The Australian Medical Association (WA) Council is the advocacy and policy-making body of the Association. Councillors represent the views of Specialty Groups, Practice Groups and the medical profession as a whole, playing an influential role in the decision-making process. The AMA (WA) Council leads health system policy development in WA, and is responsible for guiding the AMA (WA)’s sustained political engagement and advocacy activities.
