Cost of living payments corrected for WA Health and BreastScreen WA radiologists

The AMA (WA)’s Industrial Relations Team has liaised with WA Health to successfully have Cost of Living Payment underpayments rectified for WA Health and BreastScreen WA radiologists.

The issue of Cost of Living Payment underpayments for radiologists was raised by multiple AMA (WA) members, with the Industrial Relations Team promptly advocating on their behalf.

WA Health radiologists’ backpay has now been corrected.

BreastScreen WA radiologists’ backpay will be corrected in the upcoming pay period on 30 March.

The WA Government’s one-off Cost of Living Payment is part of its public sector wages policy, providing a $3,000 payment for full-time employees, with part-time and casual employees receiving the payment pro-rata.
