Criteria
Nominees will be evaluated on the following criteria:
Lifelong Service: Demonstrated sustained contribution to healthcare in Western Australia over a significant career.
Leadership: Shown impactful leadership in clinical practice, policy, education, research, or healthcare administration.
Excellence: Recognised for outstanding achievements and professional excellence in their field.
Legacy: Created a lasting impact on healthcare systems, practices, or community wellbeing.
Values: Exemplifies the core values of the medical profession, including integrity, compassion, and service.
How to Enter
Nominations are to be submitted online through the nomination form below.
Nominations should be accompanied with adequate evidence supporting the criteria of lifelong service, leadership, excellence, legacy and values, and must be supported by referees who can attest to the nominee’s contribution.
Conditions of Entry
- Finalists must be a member of the AMA (WA).
- Nominations close 5.30 pm Monday 30 June 2025.
- Winner will be announced on Saturday 9 August at MEDBALL25.
- All nomination information and material remains the property of the AMA (WA) Award Panel.
- All nomination information and material can be utilised by the AMA (WA) to publicly recognise the award recipient and award finalists.
- Information about the award finalists and winner may be published in the AMA (WA) bimonthly journal Medicus and/or Med e-Link and social media.
- The decision of the selection panel is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
