Dr Omar Khorshid is an orthopaedic surgeon in private and public practice. He is Chair of Education and Training at the Australian Orthopaedic Association and Head of Department and Lead Surgeon at Fremantle Hospital. He has set up a group private practice and an outer metropolitan public hospital department since commencing practice as a surgeon and has 20 years of experience in representative roles with the AMA. He has an interest in surgical education, clinical outcome measurement and research and has joined the Curtin University Medical School as an Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor.
