Claim your AMA (WA) membership as a tax deduction

As the end of financial year approaches, now is the time to join the AMA (WA) or renew your membership and make the most of your tax return. Your AMA (WA) membership is tax-deductible, meaning you may be able to claim it as a work-related expense when lodging your 2024-25 tax return.
To be eligible, make sure your membership payment is processed before 30 June 2025. You can access your tax receipt through the AMA (WA) member portal from 1 July 2025.
How to Download Your AMA (WA) Tax Receipt
- Visit www.amawa.com.au
Click the orange ‘Account Login’ button at the top right of the page.
- Log in to your account
Enter your username and password.
Don’t have an account or forgotten your details? Email membership@amawa.com.au and we’ll send you a registration link.
- Access your receipts
Once logged in, click the ‘Receipts & Invoices’ icon.
- Select your date range and download your tax receipt
Enter the dates you need in the From and To fields (e.g. 1 July 2024 – 30 June 2025), then click the orange ‘Tax Receipt’ button. A PDF will pop up, which you can download or print for your records.
