MDA National is a doctor owned medical defence organisation that has been part of WA’s medical profession since 1925.


As part of the long-standing relationship between the AMA (WA) and MDA National, AMA (WA) Junior Doctor members can receive complimentary or discounted MDA National Membership and Professional Indemnity Insurance ^ in 2015.


  • AMA (WA) members who are eligible for MDA Naitonal’s Final Year Student/Intern and Post Graduate categories can receive complimentary MDA National Membership and indemnity ^
  • AMA (WA) members who are eligible for MDA Naitonal’s Doctor in Specialist Training category can receive a 50% discount off the total cost of MDA National Membership and indemnity ^
