CPD Home

Are you CPD Home Ready?

From 2024, doctors will no longer be able to self-manage CPD - with compulsory accredited CPD home subscription required.

At CPD Home, we aim to make this transition easier. Our platform offers a template for writing your CPD Plan, an extensive catalogue to support your registered scope(s) of practice, and a responsive CPD tracker to monitor your progress against our CPD Home Program.

CPD activities completed through our Certified Learning Providers will be added to your tracker. You can also upload CPD records and evidence of learning you completed independently. Your annual CPD Statement of Completion and CPD reports are easily generated at the end of the CPD Year.

Local Industrial Representation

Rosters, payslips, overtime, leave entitlements – your rights and obligations in relation to all these things can be confusing and difficult to understand. Members of the AMA (WA) have access to experts who provide specialist advice and assistance to doctors about these issues.

For private practitioners, the AMA (WA) provides personalised advice and employment contract templates for practices to ensure compliance with the Fair Work Act 2009.

Individual members can also access:

  • AMA (WA) assistance in relation to resolving disputes with their employees.
  • AMA (WA) representation if your practice has been the subject of unfair dismissal claims.
