AMA Apprenticeship & Traineeship Services is a service provider contracted by the Australian Government as represented by the Department of Education and Training to provide support services to prospective and current employers and Australian Apprentices.

 

This service is provided across all industry sectors throughout Western Australia. AMA Apprenticeship & Traineeship Services staff operate from bases across the State – including Perth, Mandurah, Bunbury Albany, Northam, Kalgoorlie, Geraldton, Port Hedland and Broome.

 

Services include:

  • Career services to help guide the prospective apprentice and trainee
  • Recruitment services for employers
  • Assisting the parties to select the most appropriate traineeship or Australian Apprenticeship
  • Completing the Training Contract
  • Assessing and paying Australian Government incentives
  • Mentoring and support to apprentices and trainees

AMA (WA) rejects WA Health’s Industrial Agreement offer

The AMA (WA) has rejected WA Health’s offer for the replacement WA Health System – Medical Practitioners – AMA Industrial Agreement 2016.    Throughout the process, the AMA (WA) has continued to raise five key issues that must be addressed …
