Dr Tan is a GP with a special interest in skin cancer and minor procedures. A Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners with an Executive MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management, Dr Tan has held senior management positions as Medical Director and Managing Director for a national clinic group and a health management consultancy and is currently the CEO of HealthEngine, one of Australia’s largest consumer health websites.


A Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and an Adjunct Associate Professor in Health Leadership & Management at Curtin University, Dr Tan is currently the Chair of the WA Metro South Primary Health Network and a director of the WA Primary Heath Alliance. He was previously a board director for over a decade with the Divisions of General Practice, Chair of Perth Central & East Metro Medicare Local and a member of the Governing Council for the South Metropolitan Area Health Service.
