Message to AMA (WA) GP Members regarding the GP co-payment scheme

AMA (WA) President Dr Michael Gannon has indicated his strong opposition to the Federal Government’s proposed GP co-payment scheme.

 

Following a meeting earlier this week with the AMA (WA) Executive, GP members explained that the Government’s new proposal included initiatives that, if implemented, would have a major negative impact on the provision of health services in Australia.
