PMH REVIEW RESULTS

RESULTS OF THE

independent review into the morale

and engagement of clinical staff at Princess Margaret

Hospital (PMH) were released earlier this month and

unsurprisingly, the report was confronting.

While

Medicus

will delve into the Review and its 21

recommendations in greater detail in the next edition,

a number of changes have since occurred, including

movements in key executive roles.

Professor Frank Daly

, the Chief Executive of Child and

Adolescent Health Service (CAHS) and Perth Children’s

Hospital Commissioning resigned just before the report

was released.

Dr Robyn Lawrence

, the Chief Executive of the South

Metropolitan Health Service (SMHS) has taken over as

Acting Chief Executive of CAHS from 19 June 2017.

Paul Forden

has been appointed as the Acting Chief

Executive of SMHS, effective 19 June 2017, for a six-

month period. Paul has been Executive Director of

the Fiona Stanley Fremantle Hospitals Group since

November 2016, and will continue overseeing this

position alongside his new role.
