The AMA (WA)
is pleased to advise members that agreement
has been reached with the Department of Health on providing
12 months’ notice in writing prior to the expiry of a contract as
to whether the contract will be renewed for a further five-year
term. Agreement on this issue follows agreement having been
reached in the same terms under the
WA Health System –
Medical Practitioners – AMA Industrial Agreement 2016
As previously reported in
over the past few months,
the AMA (WA) reached agreement with the DoH about ensuring
the private practice income allowance will be rolled into the
base rate of pay for clinical academics following changes made
and implemented under the AMA Agreement 2016.
WA Health System – Medical Practitioners (Clinical
Academics) AMA Industrial Agreement 2016
is subject to
registration by the WA Industrial Relations Commission. It will
apply from 1 October 2016.
