The AMA (WA) is running a series of four seminars to help GP Registrars answer questions on employment arrangements and how to manage conflict in the workplace.


Seminar Three: Negotiating Terms and Conditions


The last seminar in our series will prepare you to negotiate terms and conditions as a contractor or an employee when coming to the end of your training. It will cover issues including; restraint of trade, indemnity, your rights and obligations with respect to administrative support and consumables, leave and leave cover, rights and obligations regarding patients, “ownership” of patients and patient files when you leave, rendering of accounts, intellectual property and insurance issues.  


Date: Wednesday 11 September 

Time: 6.30pm – 8.30pm

Venue: AMA House, 14 Stirling Hwy, Nedlands

Cost: FREE for AMA members, $100 for non-members.
