Training
Through the Australian Medical Association (WA) and its associated
entities a broad range of training services is provided for
business, the health sector and the community of Western Australia.
Training courses are delivered through AMA Training Services and
Health Training Australia (AMA (WA) sponsored group training organisation).
Both AMA and HTA are Registered Training Organisations whose skilled
staff manage and deliver training to clients in Business, Aged
Care, Medical Reception and Health Support Services. Services provided
include:
- Delivery of nationally recognised training to Australian Quality
Training Framework standards
- Quality and reputable training services that are endorsed by
the Training Accreditation Council
- Comprehensive support and mentoring throughout the training
period
- Delivery of industry developed training packages by skilled
trainers
- Flexible training, tailored to meet the needs of employers
- Added value to current training initiatives

Group training employment services are also provided by HTA, predominantly
to employers based in the health sector. If you are interested

Through AMA Apprenticeship & Traineeship Services, an Australian
Apprenticeships Centre, contracted by the Department of Education,
Science and Training apprenticeship and traineeship services
are provided to employers, apprentices and trainees. If you are
an employer and would like to engage an apprentice or trainee,
