Medical Audio Typing

Overview

Using the latest Digital Technology, this course is designed to develop skills in audio typing. It covers the correct methods of presenting medical data in documents, and how to transcribe audio dictation to produce accurate texts.

Conveniently located at the AMA training rooms, the course consists of individual assistance with orientation to the digital transcription software, followed by self paced exercises.

Recommended For

Persons interested in establishing their careers as Medical Receptionists/Typists in the health and allied health sector. A great follow on from the Medical Terminology Course, or as a stand alone unit.

  • Knowledge of medical terminology

Learning Outcomes
