Salaried Doctors

The Association supports and promotes the services of Salaried and State Government Service Medical Practitioners, in part through the activities of the Interhospital Liaison Committee (IHLC). The IHLC is chaired by Dr Ian Jenkins and meets monthly at the Association's offices in Nedlands. The IHLC contains senior representatives from each hospital and from a number of areas of medical specialty.

Doctors who are represented by the IHLC include sessional and full time consultants, medical administrators, clinical academics and rural hospital doctors.

The IHLC considers and obtains the view of members on matters relating to the practice of medicine or the medical profession.
