Membership

On a national basis, the AMA has in excess of 27,000 members, making it the largest medical organisation in Australia. The AMA is an independent association representing doctors from all sectors of the profession including general practitioners, specialists, doctors in training and researchers. The AMA (WA) provides strong representation to its members and acts as an advocate for members on a range of issues. Membership is open to any medical practitioner holding current registration to practice in Western Australia.
