The Media and Public Relations Department strives to provide an accurate, credible, and representative voice for medicine in Western Australia. The AMA (WA) President and other AMA (WA) spokespeople comment on a variety of medico-political, public health, research, and medical workforce issues in the breaking news media.

As a representative body, AMA (WA) constantly endeavours to keep its members informed of the latest news and membership benefits through a range of timely and professional publications.

Foremost amongst these is Medicus, the Association's highly informative and entertaining signature monthly publication distributed to members throughout the State.
