The AMA (WA) negotiates and lobbies to represent the views and interest of the medical profession to governments and key stakeholders in health to ensure that the Association's activities maintain, promote and advance the public health and welfare of patients.

The Association's professional activities aim to promote and advance the integrity and independence of the doctor patient relationship and present and protect the political, legal and industrial interests of the medical profession.

The Association seeks to satisfy these aims by providing a large and diverse range of professional services to AMA members, and to the broader medical profession.
