Wine Society

It will come as no surprise to anyone that there are a large number or Medical Practitioners within the AMA who own vineyards which produce some of the finest wines in Australia (some would say the world), have a share holding in a vineyard or are in the process of spending their hard earned dollars establishing a vineyard. Many other doctors prefer to invest in the finished product.

The Association has been approached by members keen to share and promote the wines they have made with their colleagues.

The solution was obvious. Establish the AMA (WA) Wine Society which would enable members who are wine producers to hold tastings and also enable other wine makers and vineyards to do the same. This would enable the medical wine makers to promote their product to their colleagues and at the same time provide a vehicle for a broad range of wine styles to members.

This website contains articles related to the local wine industry, as well as reviews and tasting notes for some of the state's premium wines.

Become a Member

Members of the AMA (WA) Wine Society can purchase leading wines at specially negotiated prices. Special tasting evenings and wine appreciation events are regularly held for members. Special member only offers include limited and pre-release wine offers.
