2008 Annual Awards Dinner

A crowd of 300 packed out the ballroom at Government House  for this year’s AMA (WA) Annual Awards Dinner.

Amongst a host of special guests were representatives from both federal and state governments were Health Minister, Jim McGinty and Deputy Leader of the Federal Opposition, Julie Bishop.

As well as being an opportunity to celebrate the outstanding achievements AMA colleagues during 2008, the generosity of our sponsors ensured that the evening raised thousands of dollars for the hugely successful Dr YES program, the groundbreaking school based initiative which impacts positively on the health and wellbeing of WA's youth.
