AMA Indigenous Initiatives programs are tailored to meet the needs of individual job seekers and employers and provide a range of services covering recruitment and retention, pre-employment assistance, aspiration building, vocational training, employment placement, mentoring of job seekers and cultural awareness training.
The Indigenous Employment Program "Your Life – Your Journey – Your Future", funded by the Department of Education, Employment & Workplace Relations (DEEWR) with support from the AMA (WA), encourages job seekers to undertake comprehensive training to prepare them for the world of work and to obtain sustainable employment.
