Our team of experienced consultants are in a unique position to provide flexible and innovative solutions for Indigenous people to address barriers to employment, improve health outcomes, attain career goals and participate fully in social and economic development.

AMA Indigenous Initiatives programs are tailored to meet the needs of individual job seekers and employers and provide a range of services covering recruitment and retention, pre-employment assistance, aspiration building, vocational training, employment placement, mentoring of job seekers and cultural awareness training.

Indigenous Employment Program

The Indigenous Employment Program "Your Life – Your Journey – Your Future", funded by the Department of Education, Employment & Workplace Relations (DEEWR) with support from the AMA (WA), encourages job seekers to undertake comprehensive training to prepare them for the world of work and to obtain sustainable employment. Indigenous Community Bus

Another activity undertaken by AMA Indigenous Initiatives and funded through DEEWR's Innovation Funds Program is the AMA (WA) Indigenous Community Bus, "Good Health – Great Future". This program offers free health, employment and support services to the local Indigenous community in Kwinana / Rockingham through a mobile service operating out of various sites within the community. Adobe Acrobat Required View more details.
